Preventative care, maintained over years
Ongoing medical aesthetics for West Maui residents — memberships, preventative treatment, conservative dosing, and a long-term relationship with one clinician.
For residents, aesthetics is not a one-time treat. It is maintenance: protecting your skin from year-round Maui sun, keeping expression lines soft before they set, and building a routine you can actually keep.
Our approach is deliberately conservative and preventative. We treat gradually, review results, and adjust at follow-up. The goal is that people notice you — not your treatments — and that your plan still makes sense five years from now.
Start with a consultation
We review your history and skin in person, then agree on a plan and a starting price before anything is booked.
Consider a membership
If you plan to come in regularly, membership is the simplest way to keep maintenance on schedule.
Layer treatments over the year
Neuromodulators every three to four months, microneedling as a series, HydraFacial monthly, skincare continuously.
We host community mornings and wellness collaborations with other West Maui businesses. New gatherings are announced on @nokaoi.aesthetics and in the studio.
Built around how you are actually here.
Memberships
Membership makes maintenance simple and predictable, with monthly value toward treatments and skincare. See membership information for what is included.
Preventative care
Treating early and lightly — neuromodulators before lines set, collagen support before laxity — does more than correcting later.
Maintenance that fits island life
Sun, salt and trade winds age skin faster here. Barrier repair, pigment care and daily mineral SPF are part of every plan.
Natural results, long-term relationships

Do you offer a Kamaʻāina rate?+
Yes. A resident rate is available with proof of Hawaiʻi residency — just ask when you book or arrive.
Is a membership worth it?+
If you plan to treat regularly — monthly HydraFacial, neuromodulators a few times a year, ongoing skincare — a membership keeps maintenance predictable. See membership information for current details.
Will injectables make me look done?+
Not the way we treat. We start conservatively, review your results, and adjust at follow-up so movement stays natural.
What is the best time of year for microneedling on Maui?+
Any time, as long as you can stay out of direct sun for several days afterward. Many residents schedule series in the lower-sun months and keep HydraFacial going year-round.
The questions we hear most.
Answered in full, with the treatment, definition or guide behind each answer one click away.
- How far in advance should I schedule Dysport before an event?
Two to four weeks before the event. Dysport starts working in two to three days and reaches its full effect in about a week, and that extra margin leaves time for a follow-up adjustment if anything needs refining.
If you have never had a neuromodulator before, schedule your first treatment three months out instead. First treatments are about finding your dose, and no one should be learning that in the week of a wedding.
- What happens during my first appointment?
Your first visit is a consultation before it is a treatment. We review your health history, medications and past treatments, look at your skin in natural light, talk through what is bothering you, and agree on a plan and a starting price before anything is booked.
If a treatment is appropriate the same day, we can often do it in that visit. If it is not — because of timing, medication, pregnancy or simply because something else would serve you better — we will say so. Allow a little extra time for paperwork and photos at a first appointment.
- Which treatment is best if I have never had aesthetic treatments before?
Start with a HydraFacial. It is non-invasive, comfortable, suits nearly every skin type, has no downtime, and shows a visible result the same day — which makes it the easiest way to see how we work before deciding on anything more.
From there, medical-grade skincare is the highest-value next step, and a neuromodulator such as Dysport is the usual first injectable, dosed conservatively so you can decide how much movement you want to keep.
- How do I know which service is right for me?
You do not have to know — that is what the consultation is for. Tell us what bothers you and what you have planned, and Stefanie will recommend the treatment that addresses it, including recommending less than you expected when that is the honest answer.
As a rough guide: HydraFacial and medical-grade skincare are for skin quality, glow and congestion; Dysport is for expression lines; microneedling is for texture, scarring and firmness; IV therapy and wellness injections are for energy, hydration and recovery.
- Will I still look like myself?
Yes. Every plan here is built to keep you recognizable — conservative dosing, gradual change, and a review before we add anything. People should notice you, not your treatments.
With neuromodulators specifically, we treat lightly at a first visit and refine at a two-week follow-up rather than starting high. That is slower, and it is the reason our results read as rested rather than done.
- Is a membership worth it for me?
A membership makes sense if you plan to treat regularly — a monthly HydraFacial, neuromodulators a few times a year, ongoing skincare. It turns maintenance into a predictable rhythm instead of a decision you make each time.
If you are visiting Maui or treating for a single occasion, book individually instead. A Kamaʻāina rate is available to Hawaiʻi residents with proof of residency, whether or not you join.
- Who performs treatments at Nō Ka ʻOi Aesthetics?
All injectable and medical treatments are performed by Stefanie Roberts, ARNP, founder and medical director of Nō Ka ʻOi Aesthetics. HydraFacial and skin treatments are performed by our licensed aestheticians, Stephanie Evans and Keala Lono, under the same medical oversight.
This is a medical practice in a boutique setting, not a resort spa menu — one clinician plans your care, and the same team sees you at follow-up.
- Should I have microneedling or a HydraFacial?
Choose a HydraFacial for immediate glow, hydration and congestion, with no downtime. Choose microneedling to change the skin structurally — texture, scarring, pore size and firmness — over a series of treatments.
They are not competitors: most long-term plans use both, alternating HydraFacial for maintenance with a microneedling series once or twice a year. If you are on vacation, have the HydraFacial now and plan microneedling for home.
